Calab
I have an HP 7475A plotter. Windows 10 has no drivers, and from what I can see there haven't been drivers developed since Windows 98. Are there any systems out there, retro or otherwise, that can use this plotter? Atari 8bit? Atari ST? Commodore 64? Apple II? Amiga? Linux? Mac OSX? ... anything? wierd_w
See WinLine, for a (buyware) driver for that plotter on modern windows. Antiquated windows (3x) has drivers for that plotter. Additionally, various modern software can use that plotter natively. See also, the plotter extension for inkscape, things like vpype, and co. There is an entire discord for plotter fun, that has a vintage plotters section. https://drawingbots.net/ In truth, *ANY* computer that can reliably host an RS232 port can drive that printer, as the printer language is very sparse and easily used. You can control that plotter with quickbasic my man.
