+-^CrossBow^- Posted April 11, 2021 Share Posted April 11, 2021 *Replacement STIC has been found and will be on its way to me shortly* Is there a differences in the STIC used between the model 1 and model 2 Intellivisions? I'm only asking because the STIC in this intelly 2 I've been working on does work, but after a few minutes I start to see graphic anomalies in score digits and other graphics. The only other STIC I had on hand, is from a part model 1 and that did take care of the issue. But of course the model 1 ICs have large heatsinks on them that are epoxied into place and not coming off. So that means I either have to solder this sticker straight to the main board in order to have enough clearance to close it up, or replace it. The STIC I pulled from the model 2 did NOT have a heatsink on it and was pretty toasty after about 10min of use. Is there a difference between them as in one being CMOS or something and not normally requiring a heatsink? Either way, I'm need of a replacement STIC if anyone had a line on one?
