Albert
As some of you have probably seen, we recently put a large number of Lynx Poster Manuals online. However, we're still missing several Lynx manuals, and I'd like to fill as many holes in this section as possible. And I just got word that Pac-Land also had a poster manual, so that's another one that needs to be tracked down. The other manuals we need are: - Baseball Heroes - BattleWheels - Battlezone 2000 - Blue Lightning - Bubble Trouble - California Games - Chip's Challenge - Double Dragon - Electrocop - Fidelity Ultimate Chess Challenge - Gates of Zendocon - Gauntlet: The Third Encounter - Klax - Krazy Ace Miniature Golf - NFL Football - Pac-Land - Raiden - Rampart - Switchblade II - Todd's Adventures in Slime World I would gladly pay shipping both ways to anyone who can loan these manuals to us so we can scan them. Please email me or send me a private message if you have some of these manuals and are willing to help. Note: I am crossing off manuals on this list as they are added to the site. Thanks! ..Al
eric_ruck
I should be able to dig up all these manuals. Actually I think I volunteered to scan then before and then never got around to it...I'm sorta bogged down with work. But dropping them in an envelope, that may be something else. I'm actually away from my collection on business, but when I get home next week I should be able to dig up pretty much all of the manuals. PM or e-mail me a reminder on Monday to look for these, including the posters. Eric PS: Sad part is I've been on business in LA, driving distance to CGE, but I still didn't go for lack of both time and money. Ah well, next year... Thanks for your offer, and I will very likely take you up on it. I've had a few offers already that cover most of the manuals I listed above, but we'll see how things go in a few weeks. I'm sure there will still be some holes to fill at that point, and we can figure out which manuals you can send my way. I'm looking forward to getting this area of the Lynx section on AtariAge filled out. Thanks again, ..Al

Albert
Thanks go out to Xot, who already scanned three of the above manuals, which I have now put online. 3 down, 17 to go. ..Al
eric_ruck
Is this thread dead, or do you still need all the uncrossed off manuals? I leave for another business trip on Sunday, so let me know if you still need me to hunt down the manuals before then. I have almost everything, it's more a matter of finding it. Also, since my scanner is painfully slow, I may prefer to mail 'em back and forth (although I guess I could setup my working computer next to another computer to scan while I code). Let me know. Albert
Whoops, looks like I missed a few messages here, sorry. I just added a scan of the Gauntlet manual, thanks to someone sending it to me from Germany. Requirements for scanning the manuals are that they be scanned at 300dpi. Black and white pages can be scanned as grayscale, which cuts down the file size a bit. I would prefer they be saved in an uncompressed file format, such as PNG. Manual scans can be sent to me at albert@atariage.com, or I can setup a temporary FTP account you can send the files to. Thanks! ..Al
