Possible Deal on Hori Split Pad Pro - $34.99 in store at Target? (YMMV)

Amazon has been selling the red Hori Split Pad Pro for $38.50, and I thought I'd see if my local Target would price match the black version... when I asked the guy to price match, he pulled it up and said "it's cheaper here."

It rang up for $34.99 in my local Target.  I don't know if this is a single store clearance, or a in-store sale, or what's going on -- it still shows as $49.99 on the Target website.

It might be worth checking your local Target to see if you can get it for this price.

OMG that thing is giant. I’m really tempted. A real d pad would be nice, even that big squishy-looking one. How does it feel?

My opinion is that it's fantastic and feels fantastic.  I have osteoarthritis in both my hands and it's far and away better-feeling than the joycons.  They hold up to extended play sessions really well, too.

The only caveat about the Hori Pad is that there are absolutely no 'extra' features in it; no vibration, no bluetooth, no infrared, no gyro, nothing.  If you're like me and this doesn't bother you in any way whatsoever, they're the best 3rd-party joycons I've used in the three years I've owned a switch.

I got this (the clear black one) from Amazon Warehouse Deals for $30! The box is a bit dinged up but it was brand new inside. I am really happy with how it feels (the texture of the plastic is really nice to the touch) and how it didn’t make my hands fall asleep :)
