Does this IIc PSU seem legit?

I mean are the specs ok? I see the 15v but there is no watt indication. It also looks kind of small no?

retrogamesupply is a popular and large website. They sell legit stuff. That being said, I've never bought from them firsthand. I don't know why the size of the PSU is relevant. Modern power supplies are all tiny.

I guess I was judging from my now dead original PSU size, which I now realize was unrealistic. The only other thing is the lack of Watts info, but I guess knowing the Voltage is enough. I also thought the Amps would have been higher in order to accommodate for new addons like SD card hardware.

That's most likely a repurposed laptop PSU and will work just fine on a IIc.

 

It's a common replacement for a dead power brick.

It's a switching supply. No iron transformer, so it's small and light. Volts times Amps = Watts, 15V X 1.2A = 18 Watts. That flimsy-looking power wire might be hard-pressed to deliver an amp's worth of current though.
