Thanks to Dan's VSS .8 debug mode, I found it! It was driving me crazy! As a side comment -- I have noticed where in statements like these: lda #$counter ;value of F clc sbc #$07 bcc NewLogic .... where the bcc does NOT work like I expect it to. In other words, it didn't branch to NewLogic even though the value of the accumulator didn't cross 0 to FF. Any explanations? Thanks again Dan - that's why I use the good old vSS for development!
