Thanks, and now that it is confirmed, would you mind posting clear pictures of all views, so it can be cataloged in the global database please? That being Front, Back, bottom & view plus a full inside view of said box.

That's not real, my friend. The only red box variants are Space Battle and Space Armada. The rest came out after Mattel created the Space Network and added those first two titles into it with blue box versions.

Usually when it has "Mattel Electronics" in the graphics area it has "Intelligent Television" up at the top.

Hahahaha!  A double "Mattel Electronics", something strange us afoot.  :)

Good eye! The base photo was taken from a shot of a Shark! Shark! box so it has the Mattel text above the art instead of Intelligent Television.

Found another Intellivision manual Variant!

Not sure if this was known or not, but i just got it.

German HOCKEY (EISHOCKEY) 1114-0121

I would not normally say a slight color difference is cause to call it a variant, but this one is darker in color along with a lower right serial number placement.

The other one i have is lighter blue with upper right serial number placement.

Different enough to be a Variant?

I concur. Colour probably gets you there variation wise but more importantly the serial number placement definitely does.

Ok. So this one has been known. I wasnt sure because i did a hard search and didnt find anything.

On that note, i sure hope Steve has time one day to update the website. INTV funhouse is my Encyclopedia for this stuff. You really need it for collecting Variants.

The global spreadsheet for the box variants, can easily be turned into a manual variant data base. If some one wants to do the leg work, of collecting pdf copies of all manuals, next year, I will build a pdf database, along with a new file structure.

Thats gonna be a tough one to tackle.

There are probably 10x (or more) the number of variant manuals, as box variants.

(Does that make sense?)

Whoever can do it, my hats off to them.

*(I vote for Cmart since he has one of the biggest collections and is bored all the time!)

If you can get 4 or 5 of the biggest collectors on AA to combine images, youll probably have all known variants.

I vote for Steve O! He should make a website!

I thought you were gung ho about getting a Web site, set up for all the box variant, pictures that I have categorized?

You are absolutely right my friend.

But here in Italy/Europe the situation is not so encouraging…

Inflation over 10%, economic crisis, gas & electricity bills expected to be 5 times higher than last year…

So, to make a long story short, I’m short in time & cash!😭

Gotta save to buy all homebrews due to come!🤠 (And the USD now is very strong vs Euro!!!😭😭😭)

Better time will come and we will make the website and the App!!!😎😎😎👍👍👍

Folks!

I would like to learn a bit more about those two weird FC variants of Golf and Baseball that @ThunderDunks grabbed on ebay few days ago…

Needless to say that they are not on Intvfunhouse and are not the sleeved ones we all well know.

Basically we’re dealing with an external cover that:

for Golf contains a standard 0910-G1 USA version with english manual 0920-G2

and for Baseball contains a Soccer (!!!) standard 0910-G1 HK bottom flap blue sticker that must be a mistake: the last picture is of a baseball cartridge and the cover’s pictures show a top flap PN 2614 that’s for a Baseball 0910 and bottom flap it’s a made in HK. Thunderdunks will let us know…

It’s the first time I’ve seen such FC box covers in three years…

How rare are they?

Do you know if there are some other games that came out in Canada with such covers? (Post pics if you have any please!🙏🙏👍).

Posting some pictures for the posterity since Ebay after few months cancels the listings (too bad!!!)

I think the soccer cart, manual, and overlays were an accidental inclusion from another listing by the seller.  The seller's soccer listing at https://tinyurl.com/bdze2s6c from the same time period has the exact same photo.  In addition, the baseball listing includes a picture of the proper cart near the end.  We shall see though.

French sleeve for Golf is definitely a new variant

I thought these 2 sleeved FC versions were already known. What makes golf a new variant?

39 minutes ago, Wizewonathome said:

These two sleeves are not in my database yet

Oh.. ok.

I think theres a list or pics of known sleeved boxes somewhere on AA. Cmart, BSR steve, or Atari Bill may have an exact list of known boxes.

I havent collected these so i am not sure of the total count. I just assumed the commons (15-30?) have been found at some point.
