Whe have here a new kind of variant that has never been (as far as I know) extensively tracked and documented… I will try in the forthcoming months to go thru my entire collection and asses precisely all variants "with" and "without". I will check all mines and see if we have some more variants or not. I made already the list all games I have with the blue sticker, I’ll specify which kind of blue sticker it is among the three kinds.. There are lot of different bottom flaps indeed, with different colors matching the boxes’ coloris, and they have to be all catalogued and tracked folks! This made me look at some of my Football variant boxes to see if i had one,.. and I do. Here is the info I found regarding if anyone is interested. First of all, I found that my Football box missing the "by" before "Mattel Electronics" on front, is a 2610-0410 UK international box. The box has slots on back for manual, & slots inside for Overlays. The cart inside was a regular NFL Hong Kong game cart. It has the UK version Blue manual 2610-0820-G2 with the Blue 2610-0850-G1 playbook (very rare). Bottom of box has the Hong Kong light blue decal. For referrence, the game box i have beside it is another UK variant but is much different. It is the 2610-0810 international box and does have "by" before Mattel Electronics. Box does not have slots for manual on back, nor seperate slot inside for overlays. The 2610-0810 box has the "Advanced Consumer Electronics" Radofin text printed directly on bottom flap. Cart in tray is the "no-line" UK Hong Kong, text only label. This variant has the yellow UK "Ace" 2610-0820 manual with UK "Ace" 2610-0850 purple playbooks with purple Title text. I hope this gives some insight to where that box came from. Thank you very much for contibuting to study this very important aspect of the Mattel boxes. I gave a quick look to some of my 0410 variants and I can confirm that those with the slots back for manuals usually they don’t have the "by" before Mattel… So far, the only 0410 with slots back for manuals and with the "by" before the "Mattel Electronics" that I found is the Football. Now I need the help of the whole community: are there others 0410 with slots back and the "by" before Mattel??? PS Rog!!! But, among the various Soccer, Frog Bog, Golf 0410 with slots back that I have, not even one has the "by".
