+SoulBuster
Issue #16 HEXPAD.LST is an enhancement from reader comments that gets entered into the program of the same name from issue #14. ASSAULT.LST is an enhancement for Space Assault from issue #13. Enter it into the game for the changes. SSTRMAIN.BAS is the main part of the game Shooting Star. SSTRCASS.LST is enter into SSTRMAIN.BAS for cassette output. SSTRDISK.LST is enter into SSTRMAIN.BAS for file output. The resulting CAS and an ATR from that CAS are included. The Fine scrolling article has a listing that has includes, even listed in the magazine. I found the 3 files on the previously found disk images. I tried compiling them this way and since I am not an assembly language programmer, I could not get anywhere. So, I combined the 3 files into SCROLL4.ASM and REMmed out the includes. It compiled just fine after that. I will not be including the 3 separate files as they do not work anyway. I did not find TRANS.ASM in the magazine, it was on the previously released disk images. I included it anyway. Analog Computing #16 (1984-02)(Analog Magazine Corp.)(US)[BASIC].zip
pmgraphics
I load Analog Computing #16 (1984-02)(Analog Magazine Corp.)(US)(Side A)[BASIC].atr and the menu displays, but when I enter a value to load a program like 06 for STARS3D..BAS(06) or even 01 for DOS, the Issue line and Selection lines just blink. Programs load fine from the menu for Side B by entering the number for the program. If I attach Side A as drive 2 I can then manual load a program with load "D2:STARS3D.BAS"
+SoulBuster
Issue #02 - If you downloaded #2 already, throw it away and get this one. It corrects an error with the menu. This issue included an update to Motorcycle Maze Rider which appears in issue #01. I have included both the update code and the fully updated program for Motorcycle Maze Rider. You can find them both on Side B of this issue. Analog Computing #02 (1981-03)(Analog Magazine Corp.)(US)[BASIC].zip
+SoulBuster
Issue #8 - If you downloaded #8 already, throw it away and get this one. It corrects an error with the menu. With this issue I will no longer make listings of basic programs that are not required to be listed. It just takes up too much room. I was going to have 6 sides on this issue. Dsktool only runs under Atari dos. There is something wrong with it and I cannot figure it out even though it is typed correctly. Graphic violence program 1: I checked this program several times and could not find the error in the MAIN data. What I typed, matched exactly to the listing the the magazine, but the check on line 10060 is +3 to what the data results show. I change the test to 36688 from 36691 to match the data statement results are and the program runs. I think it is doing what it is supposed to. I left the basic program just like it was typed in the magazine, error and all. Budget work updated for disk access and new features from issue #7 Maniac appears again in this issue, the resulting OBJ fits into 32k instead of the previous 48k. I have included the resulting .CAS and used a CASSETTE to disk program to make an ATR. Also included. A correction to Triple Threat Dice appears in this issue. The updated program is included. +SoulBuster
pmgraphics found a situation with the menu system for Analog disks. If you have more that 28 items in the menu, it cannot load anything. I found this on some other issue numbers I had to post Issue #2 and #8 as new posts as I was not able to edit them and you probably already got those by the time you are reading this. The ones below I was able to edit and you can go pick up the corrected versions from the original Posts and throw away what you have. Issue #10 Issue #11 Issue #12 Issue #15 this did not have a menu issue, but since I was re-doing some anyway, I edited BRICKLYR.ASM so it is 13k less in size. 800_Rocks
WOW! Great effort going on in this thread! Thank You!! Is there an 'easy' download button to get everything so far? OR (as I assume), one must click on each individual item to download it. Regards

Regards last I heard @Albert was working on getting that functionality back for the forum, the button at the top of a topic that let you see all of the attachments in a thread and the other one in the list. Using a download manager with those buttons, subs, let you vacuum stuff up pretty handily Edited January 12, 2023 by _The Doctor__
800_Rocks
Hi @SoulBuster consider including the many nice screen shot pics and pics of physical media here in the posts also in the .zip files. It would be a nice addition. Thanks!!
_The Doctor__
maybe someone can comb the thread and take all the images and put em in a zip for soulbuster so he can keep on keeping on.

+SoulBuster
I started this thread so sites that archive this material could pick and choose what they needed to complete their sets. I will continue in this fashion.
+SoulBuster
Issue #17 From Readers Comments: ROUNDUP.LST is entered into ROUNMAIN.BAS from issue #13. This allows a joystick trigger to restart the game, rather than keyboard input. Also from Readers Comment: DISASSEM.LST is entered into DISASSEM.BAS from issue #14. This gives you the ability to print to a printer. The Assembly listing for Binary File Menu does not have line numbers in the magazine, but it does have them from the source disks. I tried to compile without them in Atari Macro Assembler, but apparently this is not written for AMAC, but rathger Assembler Editor. I do not understand why the magazine would publish a listing without line numbers, when clearly it is required. Anyway it does compile in Assembler Editor WITH line numbers. A bootable ATR is included for Binary File Menu. FORTH4.LST is an update to Screens 1-3 for FPLOT from issue #16. FORTH5.LST has the screens from this issue. The Assembly listing for Planetary Defense was on the source disks in three pieces and with some manipulation I got them to compile. Even though it does compile and I have checked the program a couple of times, it does not result in a playable game. The BASIC program creates a loadedable and playable game. A CAS and an ATR from that CAS are included. The CAS seems to require that a Planetary Defense disk is inserted into drive 1 (the disk I created from the CAS), if not it does not load. Do not know what this is about as the basic program checks out against DCHECK2.BAS. On the other hand the ATR made from that CAS works good since it is a disk already and it checks itself. Note: Planetary Defense was written in MAC/65 and the source text files do not compile directly. You have to ENTER them and then save them before you compile. I will not be including the text files as they would make for 3 disks on this issue, only the .M65 files will be included. If you need the text files, load them up in MAC/65 and list them out. +SoulBuster
Issue #18 FONTFIX.LST is an enhancement to Create a Font from issue #16 to keep garbage off of the screen. Load the original program and ENTER these lines into it for the enhancement. The Assembly listing for Crash Dive came in three pieces from the source disks, but there were no ".includes" in the first listing for the other two. I added the commands to listing one and those three files compile into a loadable and working game of Crash Dive. The BASIC listing will also make the file and a Cassette version of the game. The CAS and an ATR from that CAS are included. CRASH.OBJ on disk one was created by the basic program and CRASH.OBJ on disk two was created from the MAC/65 listing. I could not fit all of the CRASH files on one disk. That is why they are split as such. +SoulBuster
Just an FYI. I am saving Assembly listings that compile in MAC/65 with the .M65 extension, and Assembly listings that compile in Assembler Editor with the .ASM extension. I am an Assembly newb, but I noticed that the .M65 save must be tokenized as it makes for a smaller file. I will use this method of storage where appropriate. +SoulBuster
Issue #19 DISKCAT.LST is an enhancement to DISKCAT.BAS from Issue #11.Changes were so the reader could use the program with their Percom double density disk drive. Just enter it into DISKCAT.BAS. BRING.BAS makes a file or cassette. A CAS and an ATR from that CAS are included. The assembly listing came as two text files. They were missing the .include statement for the second listing. I added that and it compiles into a complete game. ROTATION.LST is entered into the Solid States program from issue #16 to allow rotation of 3D images. +SoulBuster
Issue #20 - With this issue, the ACCESS version is no longer needed and is eliminated BACTERON.BAS makes either a file or a cassette version of the game. The CAS and an ATR from that CAS are included. BACTERON.ASM is the Assembly listing for Bacterion. It compiles using the Atari Macro Assembler into a complete game. +SoulBuster
NOTE: Most of the multiple file Assembly listings do not have the ".INCLUDES" in part 1 to load the other parts during assembly. This tells me that the Assembly listings are not alway compiled to test. I have already noted a couple that do not work even when they match the magazine. I will try to compile every Assembly listing.
+SoulBuster
Issue #21 AVALANCH.BAS creates a file or a cassette of the game. The CAS and an ATR from that CAS are included. The Assembly listing was on the source disks in three pieces without ".INCLUDES" as text files (AV1.ASM,AV2.ASM,AV2.ASM). I added the includes, saved them as MAC/65 files and compiled the files into a complete and working game. TTFIX.LST is an update for Touch Tone Dialer from issue #20. Bacterion from issue 20 had an update (BACTERON.LST), but is unnecessary as the line was typed correct on disk issue #20. It was a line that may or may not have been readable. +SoulBuster
If you just picked up #21, get it again. I was reading it and noticed I forgot to include BACTERON.LST.
+SoulBuster
Issue #22 - With the completion of this issue, the ACCESS Analog issue #22 is no longer necessary and will be eliminated. This issue had a couple basic programs that did not match DCHECK2.BAS (Math Attack and Micro-Puzzler). These mismatches were only on the REMs at the beginning of the programs. I have saved each program so that it matches the magazine and the DCHECK2.BAS results. MONEY.BAS creates a file or a cassette version of the game Money Hungry. The CAS and an ATR of that CAS are included. The Assembly listing on the source disks was in text. I load the single file up and save in MAC/65 format. It compiles to a complete and working game of Money Hungry. SSTRAPS.LST is entered into the program Solid Sates from issue #16 for error trapping. SSBIGPLOT.LST is entered into Solid States from issue #16 for to use the 1020 plotter. EPSONDMP.LST and CTIOHDMP.LST are entered into Solid Stats from issue #16 to add printer support for the Epson and C.Itoh printers.
