Even on eBay, you’ll find several sellers asking $5-$10 per cart. You can also find most of these at any Classic Game shop that carries Atari carts. As for the Case, it’s not a rare item. I have a couple myself and have never seen anyone ask this much for this particular item. Then again, it’s the Sellers asking price, doesn’t necessarily mean that he/she will get what they’re asking. Yeah, I thought this was a different product. I'd pay much less.

Well, yeah... it's.... "RARE". You wouldn't pay that price for a monitor with a smashed screen, so we won't show you the screen is smashed!

_The Doctor__
If one person is willing to buy at some ridiculous price then all the others think everyone should pay prices like that. ebay in a nutshell. even if it was the sellers brother and the money never really stayed in the sellers hand, was just shifted back to the brother behind the scenes later sales for almost that much can happen, see what a deal you got? worth point and ebay shows and says so. lmfao at the world that falls for this crap

But to your point, if it shows up the next day for sale and you haven't seen an XXXX for sale in the prior 5 years, ok... that's a red flag. Matt300ZXT
I saw someone on eBay today selling just the box to an Atari 2600, in decent condition; they wanted $500 😆

I'm trying to remember what they were selling that "replica" Falcon 030 box for... I think it might have been around that price. And yes, it was clearly marketed as a REPLICA of the original Falcon box, not even a real Falcon box.
khaibitgfx
The way I see it if anyone is dumb enough to buy these things for those prices, the seller deserves a medal.

That label is dot-matrix without a speck of aging. And why would a prototype not meant to be sold to the public have a warranty? 🤪 I have this exact same cart, does anyone know the story behind it? These were put out (and still are I am assuming) by Best Electronics. Basicly doing what Atariage does with homebrews.
