Calab Posted July 16, 2021 Share Posted July 16, 2021 I've been diagnosing issues on a 1571 disk drive for a while now. At this point it appears to be either a power supply issue, or an issue with the hybrid U7 part in the 1571 drive. Does anyone know where I could obtain a replacement U7 part? +OLD CS1 Posted July 19, 2021 Share Posted July 19, 2021 If you cannot find the part on its own somewhere, I would say a bad 1571 for a donor. I actually have a couple of 1571 drives which seem to be fine other than the drive mechanisms (major damage, not just alignment problems.)
