Also: I do have a 15KHz Mac RGB monitor MO401, just sitting here doing nothing.

I already know the IIc can not talk to any "M" monitor, but curious if this board could bridge the gap?

I bet it will.  The output is analog RGB and works with analog arcade, PVM, BVM, TV with RGB input that I have tested so far.

The qualifiers are:

15khz horizontal sweep capable

Sync (and you may need to combine that or add it to green)

Analog RGB.

Is that M monitor 15khz capable?  If so, this board should work.

I'm a little out of my element confirming since I find conflicting information on this model.

According to another poster (re: GS, which is a different animal but shares the same problem as a IIc in that it isn't directly compatible with any Mac-specific monitor):

|     "The problem is that this just isn't a 15kHz monitor. It is a 35kHz horizontal, 66.7Hz vertical monitor. It is therefore not electronically compatible with the IIgs, despite the connectors being physically compatible."

Hi,

Yes this monitor is clearly not compatible with standard output from an Apple 2 that is 15kHz.

The RGB adapter doesn't modify the frequencies and the monitor must still be able to display standard NTSC (or PAL) frequencies 15kHz horizontal and 60Hz vertical (50Hz for PAL).

Regarding building up cards from teh EasyEDA project, the easiest is to create an account and order from JLCPCB.

You can also order from any other supplier by generating the gerber files from EasyEDA (file/export/gerber from menu).

The gerber should be compatible with any online company expectations.

I have some populated PCB left (all surface mounted component in place)

Bare PCBs are also available from here https://www.vikingdigital.com/product/apple-iic-to-rgb-rgbs-video-adapter-a2crgb/

For fully mounted part I will need to build it and I will not be able to in the next 2 weeks.

This one is looking like this, and is 40€ + shipping:

I'm from Europe, shipping to US can be expensive

Standard shipping to Autralia is 15€, the next option is 30€ with increased tracking and insurance.

Which version are you looking for the one for Apple 2c or for Apple 2e?

It makes no difference for the shipping costs, the weight is similar.

We should switch to PM for the next steps

@YannAros - I'm also interested in an A2CRGB Pal adapter if there are any left?

Hi,

I've sent you several private messages, if I do not get any answer soon I will transfer the adapter I've kept for you to someone else.

This is the last one I have and might not do more.

Best regards

I've got soem requests to make a new batch of Apple 2c RGB adapters (A2cRGB), if I get enough interest (15 parts) I will do another small batch.

Please express your interest here.

Apple 2e boards are still available.

Hi,

Interested in buying one of your Apple IIc RCG adapter/cables.  I'll send you a message.

Thanks.

I see schematic for version 1.1 is available. Was there a PCB revision published for 1.1? Your OSHW Lab page still includes PCB version 1.0.

Jumping on that train late, but as I accidentially got an Uthernet last week I´m using my Apples more often again (mainly Atari 800 guy) and would like have a populated board for the IIc and one for the IIe, if still available.

Im located in Hamburg, Germany. I always prefer tracking and are willing to pay more for good shipping. :)
