JamesH
I am looking to buy a C64 terminal emulator on disk. Have the ESP-32 based modem and want to be able to do easy file transfer via X/Y Modem.
+OLD CS1
ESP-32? Is that a 6551-based module like the SwiftLink? If so, Novaterm should support that and includes several transfer protocols.

I could dump a copy of Novaterm or CCGMS and mail it to you, but in the long run you should really look at one of the many alternative drive solutions. The SDIEC and Kung Fu Flash are both cheap for all the things they give you, both of which would allow you to load a term program from a D64 disk image. JamesH
My DS2ICE has too short a cable to daisy-chain my 1541 ... Anyone know of anyone selling extender cables? I have the C64 Wifi Modem designed by FOTOMAN. Edited September 11, 2021 by JamesH
carlsson
Do you mean the power wire? How does it draw power - from the cassette, user port or elsewhere? I'm sure you could extend that wire somehow if you want the unit to be plugged into the back of your 1541.
