carlsson
A few days ago I came across this recent video, going through some of the shortest C64 games assuming you know exactly what to do and can handle the controls perfectly. A few of those exist in extended "arcade" versions, created in recent years which not only improves visuals and handling but also lengthens the game considerably. Spoiler for those who want instant results: 1. The Last V8 (2 min 12 sec) 2. Back to the Future (3 min 45 sec) 3. Rambo: First Blood Part II (3 min 50 sec) 4. Commando (4 min) 5. Kung Fu Master (4 min 30 sec) 6. Ghosts n Goblins (4 min 50 sec) 7. Hunchback (5 min 48 sec) 8. The Human Race (6 min 15 sec) 9. Combat School (6 min 45 sec) 10. Danger Freak (7 min) Edited September 20, 2021 by carlsson 1
Mayhem
He missed Snokie, you can beat that in around 2 minutes, but it's harder than Last V8 by a long shot heh.

You may be able to finish The Last V-8 in 2 minutes 12 seconds, but I played that F'ng game for hours and all it did was piss me off! Oh, the good old days! Oh, I get it. 212 Degrees F is boiling.. So if you play this game longer than 212, you boil over!!!!
carlsson
You could do the egg trick. Boil and egg and start playing the game. Remove the pan when you've finished the game. If the egg is runny, you were fast. If it is gel inside the shell, you took your time.

My uncle once complained about tape loading on the c64. "20 minutes loading, 5 minutes playing" 1
