PSVR lens scuff repair...

I bought a used PSVR recently & there is a scuff on pretty much the exact same spot on both lenses.  I’m guessing a previous owner wore glasses & let the PSVR lens and the lenses on his glasses touch.  The scuffs far from ruin the experience but they are noticeable & I’d like to do something about them if i could.  I’ve read where people used the same kind of things that are used to repair watch faces & the lenses on glasses.  Anyone here have any experience doing this?  I mean, i can definitely live with the scuffs if i have to & i certainly don’t want to make them worse but it would be nice to have completely clear lenses if possible.
