Gateway
February is only a few months away.. If you don't own a copy of this game yet, get it before it expires! Just want to give a shout out to a great game and one of the first 2600 Homebrew games I bought back in 2004, IIRC when I was still new to AtariAge. At the time, the boxes were still available as well as the foot pedal controllers were sold with the game as an option that AtariAge offered. Thrust+ Platinum is the version I own, but I am curious whom else still owns the box to this game or to the earlier versions of Thrust? Either way, I find it impressive that this homebrew and a few others are still available to get 20 years later. ?

It was completely Jah Fish's idea. So I cannot claim any credits for this. And therefore I am also not responsible for anything happening then. Keatah
They do make security chips that are good for a specified amount of cycles, then they are designed to become intermittent or fail altogether or do something bad. Or maybe there's a counter counting down the hours - then the program is erased.

When we get to February perhaps we should do a roll call of all owners of Thrust+ and if the game still boots up on their console.

+Nathan Strum
I think I'm going to put my copy out in the garage until March. Just in case it explodes or something.
