Keatah
By turning on the the Enhanced Disk Speed option - the emulator runs at unlimited speed when the motor is turned on. Turn motor off, and the emu drops to standard normal speed. It could be useful for making select parts of programs run turbo-speed, on-demand, from within Applesoft BASIC. POKE 49385,0 = Motor On POKE 49384,0 = Motor Off ..or from the monitor $C0E9 = Motor On $C0E8 = Motor Off It's a modern-day example of what made the II series so fun to explore and experiment with back in the day. Especially to a kid or technically oriented layperson. Wonder what else can affect the emulator's functionality from within a program..? Could be amusing and interesting if you tickle the gameport outputs and have the emu execute something on the host side. Or same with the cassette port, as it's not used in AppleWin. Not unlike some funky inter-dimensional communication protocol. Alright.. Edited October 31, 2021 by Keatah
