eightbit
So I picked up a Gotek from Amazon to flash to the FlashFloppy firmware. I have done this dozens of times without issue but today the tools that I use normally (defuse with STM32 driver) would not detect the unit. The driver would not work with it. So I scoured around to find what has changed. And I found the only documented solution here: https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/hardware/goteks-with-new-guts The chip has been changed to the AT32F415, so a different software and driver are required. Otherwise, the flashing was basically the same and it worked perfectly. I just figured I would share this info as I am sure someone is going to run into this soon. The Gotek device is such an awesome low cost tool and combined with the FF firmware this really is a device any vintage computer enthusiast should have in their toolbox.
