+jetset
I made this little setup my “man corner” (not nearly enough room for a cave…) a while ago. I keep saying I’ll organize it and alphabetize my carts, add a few Atari related knick-knacks, etc…But it’s been a LONG time lol so maybe I’ll update once everything is sorted. Systems 800XL/2600/5200/7800/Colecovision Games; 800XL -1 (MyIDE flash cart) 2600 (pics 8-11) Last count I had about 600 carts - no dupes apart from Sears titles and some of the non-US hacks/pirates. A good year ago was the last I inventoried them. 422 Original games 92 Homebrews/custom made carts 76 PAL games from non US areas (Germany mostly) 5200 - 103 at last count. Plus 4 different multicart/sd/usb loadcarts The only original I’m missing is Bounty Bob, which I *had* but had to part with a few years back when things got tight…kinda kicking myself now. 7800 - Somewhere in the 70-80 range Colecovision - Also in the 70-80 range My setup is an old bunk bed dresser from when my boys were younger. Added the shelves in the open area and added some lights for inside, plain right now but I want to add color at some point. Pics 4-6 are my weapons cache. I should have taken better pics, I have a bunch of custom controllers (5200 paddle, Retrogameboyz custom controller for 7800 & Coleco, etc. I also have a few boxes of controllers, CV driving module, track-ball (might be selling those, I don’t have the room unfortunately) and several other systems in boxes in the garage (NES, SNES, Sega Genesis/CD, 3DO, a few others) My latest addition on top of the dresser is an Atari 1040STF. Courtesy of Mr Tim Fagan. Not sure what his username here is, we used to trade games via interoffice mail from N Carolina to Florida when we worked at the same company and we kept in touch via Facebook. Aaaaand Here. We. Go.
+jetset
Christmas! And an updated pic. The point is to show the pac-man light. Just a little cheap-y light from my wife, but its cool. Now I have a hutch so more room, I really need to motivate to arrange things the way I want. It’s getting g there. This is somehow very much like how it was done in the 70's and 80's..
+jetset
New addition to the family! 1988 Zenith Space Command. Was up with family in the northern part of the state (Florida) and saw this beauty on the side of the road with some couches, presumably for bulk pickup. After some errands throughout the day we swung by the spot where it was...the couches were gone but the TV was luckily still there. Loaded it on my brothers' truck and brought it back to his home, tested it, (somehow) got it into the back of my tiny Ford Fiesta and brought it 300 miles back home. Works great, great picture...Only downside is at least for now, it's outside on the back patio. I wanted an older model but this one is great. My back patio is becoming Man Corner #2. And yes, I *had* to pour myself a drink (or eight) using the top as a bar. How many people can say they made a drink ON TOP of their tv?

Didn't at least knock on the door and ask if its ok? Or anything laying on the side of the street is fair game? My neighbor had some newish cats laying once but I never took them. Pretty much here in Florida if a set of furniture or anything for that matter is in the swail of a property, that means it's been left for the landfill. Fortunately for me, the city it was in does not take televisions, which is why the couches were gone but the TV was still there (I kept the "We're sorry we can't take this" sticker from the city as a memento lol).
