Hands down the number 1 comparison I was getting asked for when I started comparing FPGA to software emulation options was the Super Nintendo. Probably because it's such an iconic console that basically everyone owned if they were a kid in the 90s

 

the real takeaway is how many awesome options exist but it's a fun look at what can be done
