Title Card Variations

On my Twitter feed, another user (TCPretro21) noted variations between the Scrapyard Dog title card displays on their screen vs. mine. Someone else chimed in that their Ninja Golf looks different.  My thought is it could be an update or display setting. Or maybe one of us has the collectible NFT version... ?

 

Seriously though, I'm curious to know why we might have these differences and how many games have subtle variations?

I would suspect that the assets for the game on the Dashboard are downloaded with the game,
and these were updated since the download was done.
As the game has not changed, only the Dashboard assets, it does not show as a game update.
I'm confident of this analysis, ha ha. (I'm a programmer, and Linux systems admin/developer.)

To test that:
If you uninstall the game, (via Settings/Storage, or the = menu for the game on Dashboard),
that will remove the assets for the Dashboard at the same time.
Then, download it again, and the latest assets will be used.

Of course, if you were the one who had the latest version of the game Dashboard assets,
you will not see a difference after downloading it again, but the other user would, if he did.

The other possibility is that there is a master server with the latest assets, and there are 
some regional servers, such as servers for USA, Oceana, Europe, and they are out of sync.

Thanks @justclaws! I uninstalled and reinstalled mine and have the same title card.  I was relieved because I prefer my version which incorporates the box art. Either it's the most recent version or the server issue that you mentioned.

My art is the same as the bottom picture. I uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing changed. How interesting. 

 

Also, my Ninja Golf cover is showing the art for Atari VCS Vault Volume 2. What's up with that?
