jbmindtrick
For my wife, it was Centipede. That was her arcade game. For me it was Dig Dug at home and Tempest in the Arcade. What was yours?

I still have fond memories playing this game for hours with my twin brother and a friend. I still enjoy it on my 2600 and whenever I see it on arcades.

+sramirez2008
Asteroids! I spent a lot of hours playing this coin-op at a local pizza shop. I'm a lurker, so I can play for hours on a single quarter. Galaxian, Phoenix and Battlezone were a few of my other favs. Those were the days... Tidus79001
Star Raiders on the Atari 2600. I gave countless hours of my childhood to the game and managed to beat to it on T40 difficulty and unlock the "Mystery Rank", Atari.
jbmindtrick
Oh, and on Jaguar a little later in life it was Wolfenstein 3D. One of my favorite gaming moments when I beat that game; that and Goldeneye on N64.
Atarick
Arcade, Galaga or Operation Wolf. No contest. For 2600 games, Activision Skiing or Milipede. Both took large chunks of my time. Battlezone is also one I loved but may have played to death.
stirrell
Mine is a little strange. We played the heck out of Micro League Baseball on the Atari 8-bit. Played entire seasons. And we had the disk that allowed you to create you own teams… Box Score and Stats Compiler? We would enter in the rosters of the last year’s MLB teams using Topps baseball cards. justclaws
As a kid, I had wooden bricks as a small kid, later Lego and Meccano, but my parents lived modestly. In early teens, after my mum died, my dad got us as a TV-Sports console. Atari 2600 stayed a dream! My first real video-gaming was on a ZX Spectrum (but I was programming it, more than playing games). I had "Horace Goes Skiing" as my first game, I think, Christmas 1982. Many games were under £5/$8. My first Atari was the 7800 after I got married, but I'd seen and admired the 2600-VCS when younger, but the system and cartridges were too expensive; soon after, an Atari Lynx, and then an Atari Jaguar. I think simple Combat, and Air/Sea Battle, are what I most wanted, though, on all those consoles, and I look forward to any Combat: Recharged, if it would come along, but such Pong next-gen systems rule!
PacManPlus
Arcade: First, Asteroids... then Pac-Man, (then Ms. Pac-Man and Pac-Man Plus - hence my screen name) 2600: Adventure and Space Invaders. +joeatari1
I had an 800XL as a kid and loved to play Up n' Down, Millipede, and Star Trek on that. I bought numerous 2600s later at yard sales and had a couple hundred games. My favorite on the 2600 was Q*Bert.
Tony Barnes
I played Mr. Do, Gyruss, Bruce Lee and Fort Apocalypse for HOURS on my 1200xl. Miss those days.
ColecoGamer
For me, it was a couple of games: Arcade: Donkey Kong, Battlezone Home: Asteroids, Berzerk and Missile Command.
+swlovinist
Home: Radio Shack TV Scoreboard(Pong) 2600: Warlords or Combat playing with someone else, Millipede was excellent. I had to go to my cousins house to play the 2600. Arcade: Pac Man or Mario Bros.
