rra
After writing and releasing 14 new assembly games for the Atari 8bit and 5200 this year, we thought it would be a good idea to document the process that went into writing the games along with the development notes. We did the same types of write-ups for our 1980's BASIC games and posted those notes 3 or 4 years ago on AtariAge. Here is the document that describes the process of developing all of the games (development environment, tools, game design, tips), plus specific details for each of the 14 games. If you are a programmer, or just curious about what goes into developing a game, this may be of interest to you.
