Comaland and SD2IEC

I'm trying to load the Comaland demo from my SD2IEC. I used the normal process I use to load multiple disk games, but it didn't work. Here are my steps:

- Generate AUTOSWAP.LST by pushing both buttons.

- Press Q

- Press the next disk button

- LOAD"*",8,1

- RUN (At this point the disk error light flashes and my C64 locks up)

Anyone see my mistake?

Well, it could be. It’s just unlikely. If you can load the first file and start it but the demo locks up when it starts then I’d say it’s not compatible.

Oh well, thanks for your help. :) Is there another disk drive solution you recommend?

I mostly use Pi1541. It's more of a true 1541 emulator so most fastloaders and disk tools should work. There may of course still be bugs that prevent particular fast loaders from working.

The ultimate solution is still the 1541 ultimate series if you need a modern mass storage device. 1541 Ultimate. 1541 Ultimate II or 1541 Ultimte II+. That’s my recommendation until Pi1541 gets better.
