mika15
sorry, not sure if these were answered elsewhere, but are there any plans to bring the availability of store items in the UK? Currently for custom declaration/taxes reasons there is no option to order with an UK address at all, but is there any hope this will be brought back soon? Albert
Currently I cannot legally ship to the UK from the AtariAge Store, as I need to be able to collect VAT at the time of sale for any orders < £135. Unfortunately, there's no mechanism in the store to allow me to only accept orders above that amount (which would be handled as before where VAT is collected upon entry into the UK). I have registered for VAT in the UK, and then submitted additional information a few weeks ago. Just waiting to hear back now. Assuming the VAT application is approved, I should be able to open up shipping again to the UK immediately. Hopefully that will be soon! ..Al
mika15
thanks for the reply. I guess I know the answer, but is there any option to order one boxed cartridge privately? Just afraid that by the time UK shipments will be open again, it will be out of stock or waiting for the restock - or that it will in fact take forever for the VAT registration to be approved. Really want that Deepstone Catacomb ?
Albert
I won't run out of boxed copies of Deepstone Catacomb, you're good there. ..Al
carlsson
Out of curiosity, did it work out better with the EU than UK? I remember that for EU collecting VAT in advance is optional (and probably fewer fees for the recipient if the merchant does), while for the UK it is mandatory.
