5200 case?

I see a lot of people posting things that are not what the description says.  Are people really that stupid.  Don´t people research first.  Just found this while looking at atari 5200 prices just to see what they are going for now.  A google search will clearly show this is not a atari 5200 case.  It is infact a atari 7800 case.  And it even says 7800 right on top.

Send the seller a message and let them know they made a mistake.

Yep, clearly that's for the NES but I suspect this is probably someone who never grew up with an NES (too young, too old, never had). They probably just Googled that particular joystick and the ones for the Atari came up first so....it's an Atari Joystick.

Heck, sometimes you can get stuff for a lot cheaper because it was mislabeled. Since those looking for that item would be using different search terms, if you were using search terms to find these types of items, you might just get lucky. The problem is if you don't want to have to out think those who mislabel things then you won't find those possibly cheaper items.

Wait...  People screw descriptions up in eBay listings?

I really, Really, REALLY wanted this vintage Atari light gun so that I could play the included copy of Basketball with it.  Does all of this mean that it's actually NOT for an Atari?

Please advise.  I just want to shoot some hoops.
