Welcome to the third round of the 15th 5200 HSC season!  Countermeasure won the poll by three votes each.  Play using the default settings.  Emulation is fine, as are custom controls. Pics preferred, but not required except for HSC wins and records.

 

The high score was set by Northcoastgamer with a score of 204,500 points.  Beat this if you can for a bonus point!

It does take a while to get used to!  Just surviving means learning to avoid difficult terrain when you can and especially when within range of the turrets.  You also have to learn to avoid approaching the turrets at right or diagonal angles and slipping into those angles right after their shot misses to get your own shot in. 

 

Then there's the matter of getting the code letters.  It's not hard to get all three in the early levels... later you'll probably just want to get two (or even one!) and guess what you don't know as quickly as possible.

 

It's a fun game when you get used to how it works!  One of the very few 5200 exclusives.

Alright, first time I have actually ever played this game.  It is not bad.  My best score so far is 38,650.

Congratulations to rubeon for cracking the most codes and trashing the most turrets!  Not an easy record to beat… well done!
