Sonaru
Can someone build two cable adapters that convert Sega Genesis/Mega Drive 3-button controllers to the early model Odyssey2 that has the two controller ports?
+sixersfan105
An Atari 2600 to Odyssey2 adapter will work just fine with a Genesis/Mega Drive controller. Here is one such example of an Atari 2600 to Odyssey 2 adapter: https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m96766603537/

He said that he will have to make an adapter specifically for the Genesis controller to be compatible. I like the Odyssey2 joysticks but they're hard to use with precision. Ah interesting, I'm not familiar with that. Would you consider an NES-style gamepad made specifically for the O2? I have one by RetroGameBoyz and it's fantastic! https://retrogameboyz.com/products/odyssey-2-joystick-controller-gamepad-joypad-db9-style-plug-for-db9-ports-only
Sonaru
I'm glad that is an option but I think the original NES gamepad extremely uncomfortable. Wish they made controllers that are in the NES dogbone style or SNES style.
