2021 Intellivision Homebrew Awards

 

Analysis:

 

- 2021 juggernauts “Intellivania” and “The Sorrow of Gadhlan’ Thur” rightfully and predictably won all the awards. These were awesome and inspiring works that pushed the platform to unthinkable limits.

 

- Publisher wise, 2021 was the year of Intellivision Revolution! Rev’s games ended in 1st and/or 2nd places across all categories!

 

- Another big winner: the Intellivision community itself! The top category received 54 votes, which was more than 50% above the number of votes received last year!

Plus, there were 27 games running in total, which not only confirms the platform is alive and well, but it also attests to an ongoing golden age of homebrew production.

Long live the Intellivision!

Congrats to the winners, and thanks to the organizers for including me!  I knew I wouldn't win, or even get votes, but it was so cool to be a part of this community!  Hopefully I will have 1, or even 2 games for 2022!
