retroillucid
After 40 years of wait, we've decided to tackle this project! With Dracula, we're going with something different We're building the game in a 3D environment To my knowledge, it's the first time this technique is ever used for a ColecoVision game. Dracula is probably be going to be part of our Experience Club in the near future In the meantime, here's a few works in progress screens ''Your vision is our vision'' 25

zzip
I used to be impressed by the screenshots of this game in the magazines back in the day. I've only learned recently that it never got released! It would be great to finally see it

Pixelboy
Are you sure you're not doing Dragon's Lair here? That's the first words that came to my mind when I saw the "crypt" screenshot, if that's indeed a room inside a crypt.

Hahaha, there's certainly a bit of inspiration taken from Dragon's Lair on the ADAM That's the kind of graphics we would have seen if Coleco didn't abandoned the video game business More storage mean more detailed graphics
Atari_Bill
Omg! That’s outstanding! Ive wanted this title ever since first seeing it on the box. Thank you!
zyzzle
Astounding! About how many "rooms" will the full game have? You'll have to use some impressive graphics-compression technology to fit a lot in, especially if all the rooms are hand-drawn. No doubt it will be a 512 kb game. (I don't think a 1 MB game is possible with SGM on Colecovision?). I hope wish you the best of success in completing the game. ColecoGamer
It looks fantastIc! I’m just curious how good the Coleco controllers would be in an isometric game environment.

They would perform no worse than in Congo Bongo, I would guess.
OriginalJohn
Is this inspired by Scott Adams 'The Count'? I remember sitting there with my friend on a vic 20 increasingly getting nervous and frantic discussing the next command. We never knew if the next time we pressed 'enter' would end with 'the count' getting us and GAME OVER. Fun times. GET SHEETS, GET UP, N, W, GO DUMB-WAITER, RAISE DUMB-WAITER (heh)

The game should have 30 to 40 rooms It will run on a plain vanilla Colecovision, without the use of the SuperGame Module

No, Dracula has never been developed by Coleco It has been confirmed by a former Coleco employee The only thing that was made is the mockup/flyer (done with Pantone paper)

Ikrananka
Yes, that's the 2010 still screen mock-up that J-F showcased in that thread. As far as I'm aware that's all there is to it.
