glitch
I wasn't sure which forum to ask this in so I selected the most general one. Does anyone know if the Atari Portfolio does graphics or is it strictly text? If it does do you know the resolution & type (i.e. Herc, CGA, EGA). Nimtene
The Portfolio's LCD supports a 240 x 64 graphics screen or 40 characters X 8 lines, and uses Monochrome (MDA) emulation.
glitch
Thanks, I was wondering if it could run a few XT games that I have but it doesn't sound like it. Where there any games written for the portfolio other than chess? I know there are quite a few utilities. I've been thinking of getting one to keep my games lists on. Nimtene
The portfolio is a great little machine, if you don't mind typing on the tiny keyboard. There's a handfull of simple games that were made for it, such as breakout and tetris.
