rietveld
I just discovered that the FujiNet fails to Telnet when the AtariMax cart is present but works fine with the cart removed Edited February 21, 2022 by rietveld

Tekman
The later releases of Atarimax firmware cause issues with the ADAM. I first noticed this when I purchased my second Atarimax cartridge and discovered I started having extended RAM issues and programs not working. Running a RAM test would show failures and finally connected the dots to only having issues when the cartridge was inserted. Sure enough, installing my older Atarimax cart corrected the issues. I do know of one person who has brought this up with them, but that was almost two years ago and I don't have much faith that this will get resolved. Unfortunately, the solution is to leave it out until you need it. It might be possible to downgrade your firmware as a solution as well. I have not tried it yet on my newer cart and don't know if it can be done safely or not.

I was going to buy a second Atarimax cart, but this would be a big problem because I only have/use ADAMs, not CVs. Does anyone know whether it is possible to use an ADAM-compatible firmware in a more recent Atarimax cart?
rietveld
It does seem that the AtariMax conflicts with the MIOC Thom Cherryhomes wrote the Netcat terminal program He said, ''any EOS program that I write explicitly sets MIOC state on startup.'' So if the AtariiMax is putting it into a non standard state then this could cause a conflict with the MIOC Edited February 21, 2022 by rietveld
