Everdrives and the Ukraine crisis

There's a chance Putin could retaliate against the sanctions by going after more civilians on purpose?

The war has been against civilians the whole time, but even moreso now. It’s more a sign of desperation because the Ukrainians won’t give up.

Just saw this thread...

I am glad to hear he and his family is OK. Just before the invasion, I was supposed to send my SNES Everdrive (FXPak Pro) back for replacement or repair (I think the SD card reader is bad).  I asked him how it was going and if there was anything I could do to help. He sent me a note stating everything was OK and to send it. However, I never followed up or sent my Everdrive back for repair because of the situation. And then it took a turn for the worse soon after.

Every day, my thoughts and prayers go out to all those brave and innocent folks.  I really thought the world was past this sort of thing these days.

Oh you sweet summer child

Truth be told though, so did I.  I was kind of surprised went he went through with it.

I mean, this is a new departure even for Putin. I know war is endemic to humanity, but invasions of this sort haven't been a thing in decades. But anything I want to say further gets into no-no politics territory.

You have no idea about my background. I would leave the sarcasm behind.

I know what it is like to be homeless and losing a father at the same time. My father, who, btw, served in the armed forces defending our country and died because of it.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean any disrespect by my comment.

Thanks. Matt, you and I go back a long time. I appreciate the apology.

Let's all hope this Ukrainian crisis gets resolved sooner than later.
