Hmm, never did a scroller on the Jaguar. I will try with some dummy GFX.

theoretically it should be easy. Just a few transparent objects .... But: "theory" and Jaguar never worked

Graphically https://demozoo.org/productions/124137/ should be easy to code up - either as a series of sprites ( no vertically flipped sprites ) or blitting ( which you can flip ) to the screen like the original.

I did say "in electronics", and it is. Also, that article says that beat frequencies are related to heterodyning. Gives a link in the related fields list and everything. 🙂

 

But yes, what you were talking abut here is probably more properly referred to as beat frequencies since you're talking acoustic waves.

thanks to 42Bs for sharing on github, it saved me a lot of time to make the blitter draw lines. ( even if , of course, it did not work at first and i had to dig in jagware forum archive )
