Apple IIc’s keyboard not working

It produces a great picture and the floppy drive works, but the only key on the keyboard that works is the ESC key.

I can appreciate the irony in that. Lol

My question is - where can I find a keyboard replacement?

As for the IIe I bought - after 5 minutes of use, the power supply started shooting out sparks and plenty of smoke. It was like the 4th of July. Lol

Edit: I’m wondering if it might be the keyboard encoder chip in the IIc?

None of the keys work?

Apart from the Open/closed apple and CTRL and RESET, that is?

If absolutely none of the keys work I would suspect the encoder, not the keyboard itself.

The keyboard is easy enough to test with a multimeter.  It has no intelligence itself, just open contacts on a matrix.

Thank you for the response. I did some research online, and discovered it was the Encoder chip. Since pressing Ctrl + Reset bypasses the Encoder chip, it made perfect sense to me. I ordered an Encoder chip Pro off eBay; I’m just waiting on it to arrive.
