Rob Mitchell
the top of a 2600 joystick? pmitch wins! The original 1977 2600 joystick featured this brushed aluminum plate on top of the stick shaft which was indented to hold the disk. After much use they inevitably fell off. The sticks which were sold with the Sears Video Arcade had "SEARS" hex plates on top of them. Rob Mitchell, Atlanta, GA (cannot spell Avatar!) bjk7382
I knew that one already and those joysticks are pretty rare especially with the logo. I just sold one without the logo on ebay for 20.00. And that is on the lower side. I was always partial to these joysticks for thier smooth action and springs inside.
