allansim
There are so many Adam utilities out there, I'm a little overwhelmed. Some of the programs I load off my Arduino drive emulator will reset the Adam or send it to the ColecoVision screen saying to turn it off and insert a cartridge. I want to test my Adam's RAM, CPU, etc. to make sure its running properly. Any recommendations?
NIAD
Are you using an ADAM Drive Emulator (ADE)? The Coleco In-House test cartridges (available as rom images) ADAM Diagnostic, ADAM Final Test - Menu Version and Video RAM Test are very good but they work best with the AtariMax Ultimate SD MultiCart... I haven't tested running them with an ADE: http://adamarchive.org/archive/Adam/Cartridges/Coleco In-House/ Some of these test cartridges were converted to run from ADAM disk or data pack and you will find a number of them here including ADAM Diagnostic and Coleco In-House Test Utilities: http://adamarchive.org/archive/Adam/EOS/Utilities/

I haven’t tried running the test utility rom images with the ADE, only game roms, so let us know if they work. The other utilities that are on disk images should work no problem. IIRC they are all on self-booting CP-M format disk images in executable *.com format. Tons if ADAM stuff to explore on the ADAM Archive… have fun exploring.
