thorvitz
I’m looking for an easy way to relive my childhood—but no time (or space) to hunt for a CRT tv. Anyone selling a refurbished / cleaned 2600 modded for hdmi or whatever for a newer smart tv? I don’t want a Flashback because I want to gradually build up a collection of cartridges, like the old days. thank you!!
taxman
If you have Coax input to the TV you can just use F-type to coax adapter for cheap.

I've read that there will be lag/random static, depending on how you connect. Hoping for a "plug n play" simpler method. https://dfarq.homeip.net/connect-atari-to-modern-tv-sets/
taxman
I've used it on both tube tv and on plasma and never experienced any issue with it.
AtariSphinx
If you do use an F connector directly connected to the coax input , make sure your smart TV has an NTSC analog receiver (if in USA) otherwise the TV won't tune to rhe Atari. To reduce lag make sure to set the TV to game mode.
