glurk Posted March 28, 2022 Share Posted March 28, 2022 Based on earlier work by @Omegamatrix here's an incomplete, but somewhat flushed out Enduro disassembly. Assembles back to the original ROM, of course. I had REALLY wanted to / hoped to do an 8-bit port of this, but I don't see it happening. Apparently, this game uses no X positions, or "CalcXPos" routines at all, it's all done by precisely timed HMOVES and fine/coarse positioning. I think it'd be a nightmare to port. I guess F/C nybbles could be converted into Xpositions using a table, but I don't even want to try. I spent a couple days on this, and it's got comments / labels throughout, which I hope are at least largely correct.
