I had one when I was probably about 10 years old and living in the UK.... a lifetime ago.... and was searching around to buy one to fill a gap in my mid life crisis of collecting all my old toys! My understanding was this only came out as a G7000 in the UK/Europe and suspected I would have to get one imported in however I have found someone selling one in Australia in near new condition that has been sitting in storage for the last 40 years or so and oddly it comes with an Australian power lead still sealed in the box.... the outer box also has a price sticker of $99.99 that looks to be when it would have been originally sold here. Unfortunately not fully complete as no manual or instructions but just something seems odd... wish I could find out more history on it but unfortunately it was from a deceased estate so I don't think I'll get a full understanding of how it came to be here, but just wondered if anybody knows the G7000s general history in Australia? I know that the PHILIPS VIDEOPAC G7000 was released in Europe, Australia, Irak and Hong Kong. (under the same brand and model) Several months ago, an Australian catalog G7000 was sold on eBay.
