+DarkLord
Got an e-mail offer from Retro Lemon for this item. https://tinyurl.com/2p93ft5p They are accepting pre-orders at this time... It sure does look interesting and just about anything from Lotharek is "good stuff".
Goochman
So this device would allow you to connect your ST to any modern TV in low, medium and high rez? No need for 15khz monitors and such? Im confused on the 8bit part of this. I have no problem connecting my 130XE to any modern TV via the old switch box or Composite plugs. I works assume it would be if you wanted to use SVideo to HDMI. I also connect my XEGS to the composite ports (called AV ports on my TV). I assume this would be most useful to ST owners or someone with a VBXE which I think also uses 15kHz RGB. Bob C
nowy80
I invite you to watch the review of scandoubler Medusa. I also prepared a comparison of the generated image between Medusa and the twice as expensive xRGB Framemeister. https://youtu.be/Gnr0Q6j7MRo
Goochman
How does one connect a US Mega 2 or 1040ST to the Medusa to get a Low/Med/High rez picture on an LCD TV? There obviosuly isnt an ST monitor port on the box? Edited February 23 by Goochman
ojanhk
You can use the VGA input ro get all three resolution. Plug an ST2VGA on your Atari, use a VGA cable to connect it to Medusa and you can use all three resolutions on your LCD monitor.
dhester
I have a medusa and use it with my ST, Amiga, Spectrums and Amstrad CPCs. I get better results with the Medusa than I do with my OSSC. It's a gret piece of kit. I nice to be able to use all three resolutions with one convertor.
