Fujinet for ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC?

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

As far many users found, specially European users... are there any development pointing these 8 bit computers?

A Fujinet version for these computers will be great too, as a suggestion.

Currently there is an hybrid solution for Amstrad, called M4 card, based in a STM32F407 and an ESP8266

But probably, the current large hardware complexity could be simplified using a single ESP32 with GPIO TTL capable buffers,

Regarding ZX Spectrum, I think there is no current wifi enabled solution.

Despite this subforum is decicated to Atari 8 bits, it is the Fujinet main subforum here.

There is talk of an Amstrad CPC WIFI card in development in the CPCwiki Forums ;)

At present the Developer of the card has no knowledge of Fujinet itself, but sees no problem with the device connecting to internet based services, if the right protocols are used.

I am aware of the M4 board, and they've used an 8266 basically as just a WiFi modem.

I'd like for somebody to actually come over, now that we know a bit better on how to do a bus interface, and start a bring-up.
