Densetsu33 Posted April 12, 2022 Share Posted April 12, 2022 This morning I was playing a game when I noticed a smudge on my CRT. I wiped it with a damp clothe with my right hand, my left hand holding the controller got zapped. The controller no longer works. Could this have damaged my console or did it just fry my controller? I believe the genesis console has measures in place to prevent it from damaging the console, but I suppose it could still be possible. But I would try a different controller first that you know works and go from there.
