There's no time limit (or bonus for completing levels quickly), so in the tricky to manouvre areas, you can take a long as you need as long as there isn't anything shooting into it. To put the slow speed in perspective, notching up that score took well over an hour. That aside, when you get to the dark zones, shoot constantly. When you hit anything, even if it's just the "rock / planet surface" everything lights up for an instant. That can help you find your way. Partly because I didn’t know how to use Stella right. So I am reaaaaally happy that I get a chance to improve my scores. I always end up freaking out and overreacting. This spaceship has just seconds to live: That said, I was remembering how to play the non-Gravitar mode for most of the first half of the game, so if I could have knocked off this one last turret (and I got so close) I might have made it for another loop. I also never took out a base. I was able to reliably knock off the first one at least, though the time limit gets stringent on the second and way beyond my skill level on the third, and I don't bother even looking after that. Two things are critical to pretty much sailing through the non-dark levels: 1. NEVER risk your life to get fuel. In no-gravity mode it is impossible to run out of fuel. Get only the very easiest ones and only do it if you feel like it. It's not good for points and you will never need it. 2. Your shield is super important when there's a turret going crazy. Pulse it on and off so you don't blow up. EDIT: oh, and you do not have to blow up the base.
