ti99iuc
Hello Guys it seems that a series of good games is about to be converted for the TI-99/4A! At the moment we have: LIFT http://inufuto.web.fc2.com/8bit/lift/#ti99 and NEURAS http://inufuto.web.fc2.com/8bit/neuras/#ti99 another thread about this game series started by @carlsson here: Edited April 26, 2022 by ti99iuc 9

+Ksarul
Actually, there are nearly a dozen of the conversions identified in this thread, courteously identified by @tanam1972

ti99iuc
yes, the Tomy Tutor version of Ascend has been converted about 2 weeks ago indeed.
+Ksarul
He's up to five 99/4A ports and ten Tomy Pyuuta ports. Lots of goodness for both of my favorite systems.

tmop69
The framework used for these games is available on github: https://github.com/inufuto It seems to be based on an old Visual Studio .Net 2003, so I was not able to open on a recent version and surely will require some work to rebuild. It has two parts: "Cate", that is the high level language and the assembler "asm8" that has now the TMS9900 part for the TI. There are some doc files, but in Japanese. Looks interesting, but surely it will require some time/effort to dedicate to.

Grazie a chi ha contribuito alla scoperta di questi splendidi giochi e naturalmente agli stessi programmatori! Si prospetta una bella estate piena di giochi? 1

+Ksarul
Looks like all of Inufuto's games except Impetus are available for the TI99. It is available for the Pyuuta though. I like the fact that the tool chain used here allows easy porting to a huge number of systems, many of which have a very limited software base to start with (the Pyuuta and the Aquarius immediately come to mind for me, but the CoCo and the Colecovision are also systems that can always use some extra love).
ti99iuc
Yes, It is a nice tool chain I agree. About Impetus I left a number of message for it to the developer but I never got a reply. I think he just jumped to convert and forgot when he converted for the TI99 the first ten games he developed. I hope that he will port it at a certain point so to complete all his games present at the moment.

unhuman
I gotta say these games are really nice to look at, but the music is insanity inducing. 2

Hi Jim, I also was wondering how much work or easy it is to convert a game for so many platforms http://inufuto.web.fc2.com/8bit/ (ask in the MSX version why there is no TI-99/4A version) https://youtu.be/02Xw-8EbARU
