ColecoGamer
I recently replaced the power button inside my 7800 because it (the power button) stopped working. Even though the power button replacement went off without a hitch, the replacement button won’t power on the system. I’m starting to wonder if the issue was more serious than I realized. I’m using a new power supply, so I know that isn’t the issue. Any suggestions on what this issue could be? Thank you in advance for reading my post and responding, if you do! +-^CrossBow^-
There aren't that many other components. But you need to check and see if you when you press the power button, if you are getting any voltage to the regulator behind the cartridge slot. If not, then you need to verify if you are getting any voltage to the 210 that sits between the heat sink and the power port. From there, it would most likely be a failed 4013 flip flop IC. Although they tend to be a bit more rugged as compared to the same chips when used in the 5200.
