Retrospect Posted July 2, 2022 Share Posted July 2, 2022 From the videos I showed and the videos the other gentleman showed us, we can see a clear performance gain in our case of using the 16-bit memory. My example was of a player base firing missiles at lots of enemies. The difference the 16-bit memory makes in this case is impressive because it just so happens to increment numbers quicker and that means explosions and movements are visibly quicker and more pleasing to the eye. Then again, I would say I like it because speed is what I was wanting. Perhaps the speed increases wouldn't matter so much in an RPG environment or a text-adventure. I have to say though in almost all my games this 16-bit memory does benefit what I'm doing. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
