[WIP] Topgunn Root Beer Delivery

Story (work-in-progress):

 

There was a mix-up because the bartender from Chickentails and Dreams looked just like the pilot Mavarek, so the local brewery accidentally hired an ace F18 pilot to deliver root beer. This turned out to work really well, so they renamed the company Topgunn Root Beer.

 

It's a holiday in your country, and all the trains decided to shutdown. But, due to new import restrictions, your root beer has become wildly popular, and everyone wants it right away.

 

Can you deliver everyone's root beer?

 Nice to see you back working on games again. Before I moved, I was working on a DPC+ game. Everything I wanted to get working is working, but it isn't fun yet. Can't wait to get back to work on it.

Added:

Power-up theme music for flying and delivering

Ability to shoot root beer missiles which turn into high-speed root beer delivery parachutes (note: the physics of high-speed root beer parachutes fired from an F18 are still being studied by NASA R&D)

Gameplay where you try to hit targets to add to your score

After a certain amount of time or missed targets, it stops and you land

Showing F18s during title

Changes:

Defined F18 colors.

No more time limit, but only get so many misses.

Rank player based on score at end as Ensign, Lieutenant, Lieutenant Commander, Commander, Captain, Admiral, or Fleet Admiral.

 

To do:
It was blinking like it had nav lights, but I think that went away when I stopped defining things for missile1, so I'll look into that.

Add more variety? Add danger? Improve graphics?

Changed:
Improved resolution of playfield graphics.

Modified takeoff and landing graphics.

Fixed nav lights.

Title screen looks a little better.

 

Known bugs:
Hard to differentiate targets from ground.

Game over/landing sequence is buggy and sound sometimes continues when game over.
