Play selection Namco Speedway 4lp, using real 5200 sysyems and Atari Mfg controls. -1 HSC pt for use of period analog sticks, such as Wico. Namco Speedway is middle difficulty, and not too long on 4lp. It's finishable, and should allow for a wide range of scores. SD loaders/flashcarts running original Rom, are the only modern exceptions Pics preferred but not required, except for HSC wins and records. Round ends when month does. Current HSC records- Bust em for a bonus point each! This “Original Equipment only” season typically runs Jan-Dec, but we might be on the verge of starting a new standard season (emulators and any controllers allowed.) If you have original CX-52 controllers in working order go ahead and put in a score for Pole Position. Nobody would mind you jumping in right now. I've been raiding some rivers this evening just obtained the cart today hit 62k on my 2nd run. Hoping to start grabbing more carts to be able to participate! This game's a weird one. For one, it seems that my laps get worse the more I play (both my top scores are from my first attempt). Second, I don't remember cussin' this much playing it as a kid! I never could finish the third lap. I'm going to have to omit that one, as the month did end. I screwed up and thought I had another day myself, but mine wouldn't count either, lol. I'd gotten up early to play this morning, and figured it out in my emails. Fear not, we'll do this again someday, and the regular HSC runs it as well.
