I was in a NES HSc a few years back where they only wanted one score per person, made it easier to tally. My Segas are in storage, I don't have a controller for my PC and so far I've failed to get my keyboard to work in Fusion! So I can't just put another rom in the folder and play it. Might have to build a new ROM. I usually build a few different ones, to keep the filesizes smaller, sometimes sorting them by genre. The nice thing about SMS OutRun on the GBA is when you scroll the screen down, the score overlay moves with it. I just had to pull out my GBA and play a little bit, but didn't get very far. Zoyous Posted June 25, 2022 Share Posted June 25, 2022 Whoa, I had to shake off the rust to play this! I was able to complete all the courses back in the day but maybe not so much now. I think the thing about the courses to the left being easier was only introduced in OutRun 2, I don't think that's the case with the original OutRun... each course is pretty challenging, and the placement of the other cars is randomized so that's always the wild card. 16527340 For the bonus, I went with Hang On but at this point I'm completely inept at it. It was the first "Two Mega Cartridge" that I got and as we stood there looking at the display card for the game, my dad asked "Does it have two cartridges in it?" Outrun - 3,838,780 And as a bonus point, a non-qualifying time in... World Grand Prix Playing these two back to back, I wish I had Outrun instead of WGP growing up. I blow up too much lol, but I do like the sound of passing cars. It's been a minute since I played, but I do remember liking making my own tracks. OutRun 3D.
